My name is Lakyn Crumbly + I am behind the lens of Shutter Crumbs Photography.

Since I was very young, I have always had a deep sense of gratitude for the present moment. I kept lunch napkins that my parents wrote notes on when I was in elementary. Through high school + college, I kept a box full of tickets to every event, concert, + flight that I took to preserve the memories being made.

In the last few years, I have been blessed to see many of those I cherish get married, begin their careers, grow their families, + make other big moves. Naturally, I've always made an effort to freeze those sweet moments in time through photos/videos. It brings me great joy to look back on the different chapters of my life through captured memories. Getting to share that joy + gratitude for life with others is always a gift.

Outside of photography, I am a high school biology teacher + girls basketball coach. I enjoy traveling, the outdoors, live music, any reason to compete, all things breakfast + to spend time with people I love! In all things, it is my mission to help people see their worth + the value they bring to the lives of those around them.

I believe that everyone deserves to have photos taken that convey the beauty of their experiences + connections. Choosing a photographer can be a daunting task, so it is my goal to make your experience effortless, fun, memorable + to provide photos that you are proud of.
